My garage

Well this is it. After a lot of activity, this is how it looks. Yes I know, still a lot of moving to go. I am so excited to finally be getting my own space back (not to mention my life back from the regime!) and to be able to look forward to parking my vehicle in the garage after three winters outside. Another week and we'll be there. Woo bloody Hoo!!!!!

Today was the Science Fair. Amy invented a hat that holds air activated hand warmers and she won First Place!!!! Usually there's only one kid who does an invention so, of course, he always gets First Place. We decided that as a strategy, if she invented something she should at least get a second place rather than competing with a large number of kids for a place. Anyway the strategy more than paid off. She beat the other kid. Woo Hoo!!!!! You Go girl !!!!!!!!

Winter Break

Last week was Amy's Winter Break from school. We headed down to Fond du Lac on Wednesday to look at some vehicles and stayed in Milwaukee Wednesday night. Thursday we went to the Milwaukee public museum and Amy and I visited the Body Worlds exhibition. You may have heard of it? Using real human bodies displayed in various poses with some showing organs and nerves etc. Also different body parts on display. Check it out on Google. Sounds grotesque but it was actually very interesting and we spent two hours in there before checking out the rest of the museum. We went back up to Fond du Lac on Friday and came back with a new vehicle.

This Week

This week I fell out with (had an argument with, for all you non-Brits!) my Jeep.This was a really nasty fight that ended with us both in the ditch and we have decided that we need to part ways due to irreconcilable differences. It wants to drag me into every ditch and I don't want to go there! Anyway the search is on for a different vehicle.
